Bought for husbands birthday after a lot of deliberation on which saw to buy, could not have made a better choice, could not have chose better himself he said, (praise indeed). Well made,good grip and usual Stanley quality coupled with rapid delivery - perfect....

This is the saw I use on an almost daily basis. Although its a bit more pricey than its rivals, on performance its head and shoulders above the best of them. It also holds its edge longer than the Stanley Universal handsaw and the quality of cut is much better. Whether used for ripping or across the grain this saw performs admirably.
