I had an old Dolphin showerhead which I replaced because it had started to crack. Fortunately this fitted the Dolphin hose and is far superior to the old Dolphin showerhead that I had. For example it can be adjusted to any one of 3 types of sprays - all of which are useful. Also, I had to descale the Dolphin showerhead every week but I have not had to descale the Mira showerhead yet though I have been using it for a month.

As I'm sure will be the case with many seekers of replacements, we did not have a note of the name of the shower head model we wanted to replace, and so were dependent on product descriptions and pictures. This seemed to be the closest to our model from the picture, but the spray pattern turned out to be different, and, though I have not taken this one apart, it seems to lack the internal rotating parts of our original. (All we really needed was new rubber seals for our original, but got no answer to inquiries after the necessary part numbers... It is a shame that so much design goes into products that should last, but instead have to be thrown away, for lack of spares or even simply lack of information.)
That said, this device seems to do the job. It does not have the ring of wider holes, or central slotted holes, of the original, but it does have a reasonable range of finer spray patterns. I will reserve complete judgement until after the first time I need to try and dismantle the head to clean it.
