What can I say its a picnic blanket, Well worth the money, the waterproof backing is very good, the blanket is easy to roll back into the carrying position, hopefully we get some more sunshine to try it again.
Nice product, compact & good quality October 15, 2009 Martin (Aberystwyth, UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Just what you need for a picnic on the grass. The plastic back makes it waterproof, it's light and rolls up into a nice compact size held together by Velcro. It is as advertised, not much else to say really.

Fab blanket packs easily and is a nice quality, perfect for the beach and garden and we took it away with us too!
Great things come in small packages August 19, 2010 Anna If you are looking for a very compact (when folded), surprisingly lightweight picnic blanket then you can't go wrong with this. We were looking for a good size blanket that we could fit into a rucksack on walks to the beach/park/hills and this has been perfect.
It is thin, and feels it on pebbly beaches, but we bought it to keep our bottoms dry and find the thicker ones are a bit awkward to carry about if you are walking to your picnic site - and this is especially good if you don't want to look like you are bringing your Mariah Carey style entourage with you.
Sizewise it fits us perfectly (2 adults, one child). We do have a small 'picnic footprint' though - no chairs/windbreaks/tents/candelabras so you may want to get two if you have more in your party and want to spread out a bit.
My young daughter has table manners of a brontosaurus and manages get more of her lunch on the blanket than on her plate, but the soft tartan pile is short, and after a good shake the crumbs fell off, leaving the blanket looking like new. Picnics are a picnic with this blanket.
RUGGING BRILLIANT December 19, 2008 Aaron KD Bourn (Cambridge, UK) 30 out of 54 found this review helpful
Ohhhhhhh yes sir! I can tell you one thing, and that is this: If I were ever to choose a picnic rug to sit on/eat off, it would be and is this one! I have at least seven copies of this rug, one in the bedroom, one in the living room, one in the kitchen, one in the Land Rover, one in the house, one in the car, one in the bathroom. One in the loft as well. Just in case.
NOW listen closely you folk out there, the pattern on the rug is one of the things that makes it glorious, a rhapsody of blues and reds, whites and dark blues, and blues, and red. All lovely, all of the time, and the wife likes it too, which is a bonus, stops her moaning when I buy the cheaper brie or the the value cava. Rrrrrh. She's starting to grate me.
Plus the design is good and ergonomic, the old fashioned ergonomics coming back into play and why not eh? It takes balls for such a simple design to make it out there in the big wide world but by george they've done it, the good people at Draper have done it.
I decree that if God were to ever buy a Picnig Rug priced at a very reasonable some pounds, it would be this one! Go forth and buy!
